I have a 99 4 door gsr with check engine light on. Tech at dealership told me I could use a wire and jump the green plug under glove box and it will show the lower number codes. My question is can I drive it for a while till I get it fixed? I was told code 22 is for v tec pressure switch

 

It's driveable just no Vtec!

 

v tec was still working. used the scanner and it vtec system malfunction. not been on since but gonna clean the solenoid

 

Code 22 is for the VTEC pressure switch, Cleaning the vtec solenoid isn't going to help the situation.
