code 21 on an LS?
I have a manual 97 integra LS, pretty much stock. Ever sense I got the car its been throwing a cel, the cel's 21 which is for the vtec solenoid. The ecu is from a auto 94 LS, the serial number is 37820 p75 A51. Does anyone know why I would have a code 21 on a LS? I was thinking it could possibly be bad wiring but im not sure. Any help would be appreciated.
Do you know someone who could let you borrow a known good P75 ECU?
Why, because I highly doubt a good p75 would throw a code for the Vtec solenoid?
Are you sure you're reading the code correctly?
What ecu conversion harness are you using?

Thats what im working with.
Im pretty sure im reading the code right... Jump the connecter, turn key, light comes on, goes off, it will blink twice , then once fast, and then it repeats, slow, slow, fast. I got this car about 8 months ago, im trying to get some bugs worked out of it so I can get it off my hands.

Hmmm, a radio shack butt connector ecu conversion harness. I would think you have some bad wiring there. I've seen alot of crazy things in my life and this might take the cake. Why did you get the car if it was throwing a CEL from the beginning?
What's the purpose for having a OBDI auto ECU ? You said your car is close to stock remember.
Do you know anyone with a helms for an Integra?
I would say it's possible that a vtec harness was used but that still wouldn't make sense because we all know a P75 doesn't look for the vtec solenoid. The ECU itself could have been modified in some way.
Maybe you can find a virgin manual ODBII P75 at a local junkyard and wire it straight up without that hacked up harness.
