clutch problems NEED HELP PLEASE
today i was driving and i got on my integra rather hard and all the sudden the clutch felt completly different and the gears where harder to shift into...i changed master cylinder because it was leaking and bleeded the system but the car is still doing it, i have a 1998 gsr. never had any problems with tranny.
any ideas? only thing i can come up with is maybe the slave or clutch is going out.

One of the clutch disc springs came dislodged and/or some of the metal near the spring broke off. It's preventing the clutch from coming fully disengaged, which is why it's difficult to shift. Same thing happened at the end of my original clutch's life (135K on original clutch). Got on it hard, suddenly hard to shift. Replaced clutch and that's what I found on the old one when I took it out.
Sucks doing it if you've never done it before, but you'll learn a lot about your car in the process.

When you open it up and take a look this is what you will see.
Pictures of the carnage.

The spring that went.

The other two that were about to go.

The clutch in the pictures is an ACT HDSS clutch. It had about 60,000 miles on it. The power on the car was 165-180whp with this clutch.
