My buddy has a '00 Ls Teg with 42,xxx miles on it.
He had a performance clutch installed about 8K miles ago but is having problems with shifting now.
When he first starts the car in the morning or after it's been sitting for a while, It doesn't want to go into gear.
After forcing it into 1st the car will drive fine but shifting through all gears is tough, It just doesn't wanna go.
After the car worms up it seems that the problem goes away.
I took it for a spin yesterday and I saw a slight problem at first, But not as bad as he was mentioning.
After a few blocks the problem does go away and it's not an issue anymore.
Could this be his clutch?
shift linkage?
tranny fluid?
something else?
He does have a stage 3 ClutchMasters, and it is engaging right at the top (like it always has), And there is no smell or noise.
He said it's been like this for 4 days now, Everyday it's a little harder to get into gear in the beginning.
He's affraid one day he's going to be stranded because it won't go into gear.
What could be the problem.
Has anyone else ever experianced this? What was it if so?
Thanks for you advice in advance.

Wow, Up for 6 hours and not even a suggestion or Bump?
You are all slippin
The problem was fixed.
It ended up being a very low level of fluid in the Reservoir and also needed the system to be bled of air.
Incase someone searches for this problem in the future............................................ ..........
