Hello, i have a 1992 Acura Integra ls. When the car is off it goes into gear perfectly fine but when the car is on its like i am locked out of every gear when i start it in gear it makes a terrible grinding noise or miss shift noise and i was looking on here and someone else helped a guy with what i thought was the same problem and he said it was a slave cylinder and i work at Autozone and i tried to look up the part but it said i had a mechanical clutch and i dont know what that means does anyone know what the issue might be.

 

Its your clutch! take the trans out and replace the entire clutch setup, I recommend a OE replacement from Exedy.
