it will not cost $1000 for a new clutch thats insane!!! ur way off you can get great clutchs from $150 and up depending on what stage and brand, but not $1000

Well there has always been no spring in my clutch..
though it is just getting hard to put into gear and stuff, lots of grinding, i need to ride the clutch abit in some situations..

would bleeding it have any affect?

i live in australia.. $350 american. is double in australia..

also i am talking about a clutch and installation.
before when my mate owned this car, it cost $700 aud for the clutch and $300 aud for installation..

Sounds like a spring or something may have come out of the clutch disc. You need to pull the tranny and have a look.

depending on how many KM are on your tranny i would replace the fluid in the tranny with no detergent motor oil and do a good bleeding on the clutch...then check all your clutch lines to make sure they are ok and go from there...make sure your car is solid, if its weak then many small problems can lead to one big problem...
