anyone know how the clock is fastened into the dash of a dc2? i want to know before i go trying to take it out and damage it or the dash

 

its just held in by clips...use a screwdriver to pry it out

 

However I will tell you this. It pops out on one of the sides easier than the other side.

I apologize but I dont remember if the left or right side makes it easier to pop out. I think its the left side because right side is where the connector is.

 

use a thin knife to the left side and it should pop out.

 

Ok yea, definatly pry from the left side. Lucky for me I had two clocks. I pried from the right side, got it out, but also chiped the plastic pretty badly.

Also you could also use a small flat head screw driver.
