Hey whats up guys, i have a 1997 Acura Integra LS and the area above my radio, where one of the vents are ( left side ) broke, ( basically i had a sparco seat ( cell phone holder) and took it off too roughly and accidentally broke a piece off the vent, and now i need to remove the console, or whatever thats called, how do i remove it?? please help honda-tech, thanks

 

remove the hazard and defrost buttons there are 2 screw points behind them

 

once i take out the hazzard/defroster buttons, and remove the 2 screws, do i just pull it out, or are there more screws to take out, thanks for the help

 

once you remove those two screws behind the hazard and defrost button, the climate control is only holding in place by clips. Just pop it out, then undo the 2 or 3 plugs/harnesses (need small hands), then go look underneath the passenger's side of the dash, find the temp cable and undo it off of the hook that its on. From there, the whole unit should pull out

when replacing the cable, i found it easiest to lay on my back and watch the cable thread through the channel. make sure u replace the cable through that channel or u may have trouble with ur climate control lever.
