Default Cleaning head

I have a built head that has been sitting for about 3 months. I made the mistake of not wrapping the head in plastic wrap as i was later told to do. But my question is... how do i go about cleaning the head before i install it? What would be the best way to go about doing this. I'm greatful for any advise. thanks

warm soappy water will do the trick. When you don, take a air hose to it so blow dry it. After your done put a small coat of wd40. If you have camshafts in, YOu need to put in that engine breaking lub, on them.
