for some reason my check engine light in my car started showing today. i have no idea whats causing it. can u guys suggest anything to look for or check? any help would be appreciated...oh and my mods 2001 gsr-aem cai/ctr intake cam/zex 75 shot and thats about it.

i dont think he knows how to check. there is a box under the glove compartment in your car. its green. you will need a paper clip and....you know what i forget what to do. hold on ill run out to my car....just chill for a sec

 

oh yeah check that page it says there. i thought it only gave the codes. i was going to type up instructions but its all there

 

i read the code and i cant really distinguish any pauses. its just 1 flash every second and its continuous. help please

 

It could be a single digit code. The long pauses represent 10, while the short pauses represent 1.

 

well if there is no pause then all the flashes are short. there has to be one pause to divide the replay of codes cause its just going to give the same code, break and keep reapeating the same code. keep trying. there are only 9 short flashes because if there were 10 then it would be 1 long flash. so now you can distinguish that the code is probally 1 to 9. its just a matter of finding the exact one.
