Checkengine :(
First of all, I know you guys might all end up telling me to go to the shop and get the checkengine figured out, wich I will do, but Im just trying my luck here anyways.
So like I said I got a check engine, on the highway.. I have to say I beat my car a lot. It's a 98 GSR all stock. Anyway I got my check engine I a big loss of power as if I was running on 3 cylinders or missing fire (or fuel?)... When I stopped at red lights of anything it looked at if it would stall on me and I had to give a lot of gas to get it moving again.
Maybe Im just paranoid (pretty sure I am) but I think I feel my steering shaking and my shifter shaking more than it should.. also.. the exhaust.. it does a steading sound.. then *poof* .. steady sound for a few secs... then *poof* again.. as if the engine is missing a stroke or something...
Back a few months ago one of my sparkplug removed itself from the distributor while I was riding (so I was running on 3 cylenders) at when I stopped and clutched at the red light my engine stalled so I checked and just replugged it hard... so this time I checked my plugs again... they were plugged fine but on the metal connectors there was some green .. stuff... like moisture or something.. like green corosion.. so I opened-up the distributor where those cable plug.. and there was none of that green stuff in there.. as if that green stuff just created itself on the wire's ends...
So, I was wondering if that green corosion could restrict the spark "randomly" and could be making my engine miss like that.
Thanks for your time.

Check the plugs and wires for damage. Pull the #1 cylinder spark plug wire out and put a screw driver in it. Start the car and hold the screwdriver sideways like 1/4th of a inch away from a nut on your valve cover and see if the sparks are steady and strong. Make sure non of the plug wires are loose. It could possibly be your distributor. And deffinitely check the ECU codes because they will tell you if something is not firing or getting gas properly. Its the easiest step to start with.
Ok thanks a lot! I will do that!
Yes it could be my distributor as I realized it was getting very hot + my coil was acting up last summer.. I mean after a ruff ride Iif I turned off the car I couldn't turn it back on for like 10-15 mins.. I suspected the coil as everything else was fine, and was only happening in hot hot days.
Thanks!

Yes, check the code first and foremost. You can jump it yourself as described in the thread posted above.
Then, check spark, etc as suggested. When I check for spark, I will usually just pull out the wire in the cylinder in question, put an extra plug in one wire, hold it close to the spark plug cylinder and make sure it's dark enough that I can see a spark, and turn the key (you need a helper).
Lastly though, are you sure the green stuff on your wires is corrosion? If it's moist, it could be coolant. See if the drops are kind of slippery and smell sort of sweet, then stick your nose in your coolant reservoir and compare. If it is coolant, you could have a head gasket leak, and coolant got into your motor and started wreaking havoc, resulting in a CEL. Just a worst case scenario guess, but you never know.

Ok I checked the CEL code and it is 71: wich means, missfire in cylinder #1.
2 questions: Wich one is the cylinder #1 when you pop the hood, left or right?
The other question is, with that code, could it still be coolant leaking through the head gasket?
Anything I should check exept sparkplugs and wires?
Thanks in advance!

Cyl 1 is all the way on the right, on the side opposite your distributor.
You could definitely get that code if there is moisture in Cyl 1, whether it's coolant, water, or another reason.
