Check engine light problem
i have a 97 LX with a swaped 97 LS B18B motor set up for obdII
I was driving home and all of a sudden the check engine light turned on. when i got home i used the service connector and jumpered it, and read off the check engine light flashes... they were as follows
...long...long...long...long...long...long...long. ..long...long...short...short......
to me that is a code 92, but when you look on the integra FAQ and find the ecu page, there is no such code... does this mean i need to use a code reader?

Re: Check engine light problem (racer_X_123)
mainly when your motor isnt fully built check engine lights turn on for smog related issues. like sensors are dirty and crap.
short story
I was low on oil. Got a bad read on the dipstick, I filled it 1/8inch past the top dot. Road like that for 3 weeks, check engine light came on. Drained half a quart, drove another week and the check engine light went out.
