The check engine light is on in my 98 gsr. Does the light put the engine in a limp mode. Cuz I ran at the track and ran a 15.9. And my friend has the same car but no check engine light and he ran a 15.5. We both have the same mods.

ya cel is no good. Use a scanner and figure out whats up and fix ur problem, gas mileage and power will be affected by the light

 

Barely anything could be affected by the light, or a lot could, it really all depends, go to autozone or local auto store and get it scanned for free.

 

About times, the times depends on the driver...
