Check ECU code 41
I checked my engine codes, and it turned out to be 41. The O2 sensor. THe acura dealer told me that it was because I had a CAI on my car. I doubt that this is true. Anyone know what to do? I considered buying a new one, but it is 230, and not really worth it unles I have to.......
Yeah - check the other thread. DTC#41 is for the preheater circuit for the O2 sensor. It has NOTHING to do with your CAI. Unless you tore some wiring loose when you installed it...
Knowing what code 41 is about, I'd be surprised if ANY mods could be responsible. It's just a heater circuit. You could take your O2 sensor out, plug it back into the wire, & duct-tape it to the underside of the car. It would throw code #1 for a bogus oxygen measurement, but you'd have to cut some wires or blow a fuse to get #41. Of course, if the heater inside the sensor is toasted that'll do it...
