Default Check this.

"SIR2 B16, Tanabe Hyper, Akimoto, JDM Headlights, Neuspeed Race, Sony CD Player, White Gauges, Short Shift, Brembo Rotors, Si Wheels or Gunmetal Rota Slipstreams. Needs Paint, some bodywork, and has small electrical problem. Car runs rough, needs TLC. MECHANICS SPECIAL. Price Negotiable."

153K on body, and asking $4000.

I have been looking for a 92-95 hatch for ever, I have been jerked around everywhere. I have $4000 in cash next to me, should I just offer 3,200 or something and rebuild the motor. The SIR2 b16 swap need modified motor mounts correct? What is the stock or curb weight. (Search might help, anyway, just give me input!) I've always looked the integra, but should I even waste my time with this bitch?

Talked to the guy. I did a carfax, everything is clear. Except odometer roll back, which must be the sir2 swap. Anyway, he said the car runs, but dies due to poor fuel pump. Wired fine with no CEL. I might need to change the fuel pump once I get there? Or loose wire in pump? Do you thinK with bad pump, needs 60K tune-up soon, and the problems such as minor body work worth $3,000? I do, I just need your honest input.

the mechanical could lead to other things under the hood needing replacement. The car dying after an engine swap sounds like trouble.. and probably costing more than $4k in aggrevation. I'd pass if i were you.

My two pense.

If it is just the fuel pump, and only pay 3 g's or so. Then I think I might go with it. Stock pump a good idea for sirII b16 in 2 gen? TIA

thats a tough one. i'd probably pass on it. mainly because it might not be as simple as replacing the fuel pump. that might not even be a problem, and there may be otehr mechanicl things you'd have to deal with. If you could get it for $3000 though it would be tempting. I mean if you ended up not being able to fix it you might even be able to part it out for close to that much.

no, the b16a did not need modified motor mounts to fit in the G2. all b series motors just drop right in with the stock G2 motor mounts. curb weight is about 2500-2600lbs depending on the trim level.

I would be more worried about the car dying without a motor swap.. if the car dies because of the motor swap then he prolly did something wrong in the swap or didnt replace a part he should have.. swaps are not hard to do.. but they can be complicated if you forget or mess up 1 thing.. its your call man.. you can get a good lookin 92 - 93 hatch for 4000..

Check it out and see what the problem is. I'm usually more concern with body work. If you can go and see it. I have no problem buying cars that's already modded, it saves you some money. But you have to make sure it's something you can work with or fix.
