Ok I'm pretty sure my starter is going out. I have to turn the key at least 50 times before the car will start. Now my question is how hard is it to replace? Where is it located in the engine bay? Is there any how-to's anywhere? I really want to fix this myself if I can. Thanks for your help guys.

not that hard, just a pita to reach the bolts. it's located above the transmission bell housing

 

It is located basically behind/under your lower radiatior hose where it comes off the block, just above the tranny.

 

its on the left backside when you are looking at the front of the car 2 bolt
very easy to replace.

could be fuel prob. too

 

I'm pretty sure it's the starter. Anyway I can be certain?
I can't figure out what the starter is in those c-speedracing pictures. Dose the helms manual have a changing the starter chapter?

 

ask for the starter at your local parts store, then you'll know how it looks like.

 

Not to thread jack. But I'm having the same friggin problem with my 94 GSR. Is there any specific started I need to get. Or are there some different ones to get? Like off a different type of motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
