CEL throwing code 43... Any experience?
My car (a 94 RS) has begun to throw a code 43 (fuel supply system), but only after the car has properly warmed up. Sometimes it won't come on for days. It is sometimes accompanied by a whining sound, coming from behind me. When I searched it seemed to be a common problem for obd1 cars.
And this hasn't happened lately, but it used to sometimes not start -- or when it did it would idle and die. I'd wait for a minute and it would start right up again no problem. The car drives fine, but I also think I'm getting bad gas mileage when the CEL comes on.
Help me out

my car just did that start then shut off crap yesterday. i'm going to look into the fuel pressure regulater. i've heard of those crapping out. maybe that's your problem?
Yep... I've searched the same. If its the fuel pump then the engine wouldn't run, but it might be just working poorly or what not. I just cannot afford a new fuel pump/regulator right now, if i don't need it. I hope its just an o2 sensor but
You must not have searched that well, because when my car was throwing a code 43 I searched on here and got the idea that it was the o2 sensor, turns out thats what it was.
