I was driving on the highway at normal speed yesterday then all of a sudden my CEL comes on...the only difference i noticed was that my car idled about 400 rpm higher than normal...and my car stuttered when i take off of first gear...the night earlier it was raining really hard. Would my intake sucking in a lil water cause the CEL to come on throwing any sensors off on the throttle body or something? When i turn the car off and back on it goes away...but after driving for a little while it comes back on. It acually went away for a whole day until i decided to push it a little and open up vtec and it came back again. Any suggestions?

 

My first suggestion is to read the error code. Then you wouldn't have to guess what it's all about.
