Hey guys, I'm looking into getting the T1R exhaust for my 00 gs-r. I plan on getting the entire cat back system which means a 2.5" collector end on the b-pipe. With this, I'm also looking into getting the JDM 4-1 header which means i have to get a new cat since im going 2.5" for both inlet and outlet. Now I need some advice and help on what cat to get, whether it would be bolt on or weld on. Since my car is 00, I'm also concerned about the odb2 sensor...I dont wanna be running with a CEL on. I've been doing some reading, and people are saying that they are having trouble with the obd2 sensor bung on the cat. So I guess my question is, how would i approach to figuring out what kind of cat I need and how to solve those problems i just talked about. Thx in advance.

just make sure you get a obd2 cat and not a obd1 cat. you can find the bolt obd2 cat but they will be more expensive then the weld on version. what ever you do with the o2 sensor don't get them dirty from grease or anything on the sensor because that will cause the sensor to light up the CEL.

BTW make sure you get a 3-way cat
