1995 Integra ls. coolant reservoir is empty two days after topping it off (no leak). while driving will not accelerate, sounds like im bouncing off the top of the rev limiter and not gaining acceleration unless i let off the gas and get on it. Basically it just bogs down. If anyone has any thought of what it may be i would be pleased to know. Thank you

 

If its not leaking it, its burning it. Blown head gasket would be the first thing that.comes to mind. White smoke coming from the exhaust?

 

yeah that makes sense. I drive a 97 civic lx got an ls swap about 5 months ago. bought the engine and tranny with 100+ k on them. thanks for the help. How much does that normally cost to get fixed? any idea?

 

it really depends on the car how much it would cost something like these cars they can be done in a matter of hours, where as a v6 malibu would take longer. I would expect atleast 300$ from a shop. If you're mechanically inclined I see no reason why you wouldn't attempt this yourself.

But of course, I would check it out further. Is their coolant in the oil? it would look like chocolate milk.

 

You have a blown head gasket IMO it sound like you don't have compression
