car cut off and wont turn back on

car cut off and wont turn back on
12/21
only shuts off in reverse
i successfully put it in reverse about 5-6 times without it turning off, it seems as tho if i let the car warm up and when its at its lowest rpm it wont shut off, i am wondering if reverse is on its way out but then when it doesnt cut off it works fine, with no slipping.
12/20 4:59 pm
So I took out the hid kit on the driver side and installed the stock Headlight bulb,
it does not blow the fuse anymore.
However I turn the car on and it is running fine until i put it in reverse and it cuts off, just like the night before.
Ok so i replaced the acg/ig fuse once again, let it run a little bit, go thru all the gears making sure to skip reverse, it runs fine.
So i waited some time and got the ***** to throw it in reverse again and it didnt cut off.
No engine lights are on or anything.
12/20 3:30 am*So i checked the fuses, the ACG/IG fuse was blown, the top 1 because there is 2, i replaced the one. the engine light went off. i start the car, then it goes right back off.
and now the check engine light is on again along with the blinking d4.
wtf... lol
12/19
hello so i was parking and wham the car cut off,
it cranks like chhh chh chh but it will not cut on
also the driver side headlight fuse keeps blowing, this happened at the same time as the car cut off unexpectedly
so i am thinking it is some electrical problem
the check engine light, oil light, and D4 (Automatic Trans) light are on.. the d4 light blinks
i will check the fuses shortly and try to find the code from the ecu

Re: car cut off and wont turn back on
sounds like you have a shortage somewhere. If this is the case, it may take some time to find where the short is coming from. Also, are you using the right size fuses?

Re: car cut off and wont turn back on
Its funny my car all of a sudden shuts off on me and wont start. I pin pointed the problem down though. Im not sure if its the entire assembly but its the ignition control module for the KEY on the steering column. After figuring out what it is I got lazy and just left it but I tell you what if I hold the key just right before it springs back it stays ON, lets me move it around the garage at least! This COULD be your problem???? Its mine! If so Push button start is a nice option for the future homeboy.
