Default Car bogs intermittingly

I have a 1996 Acura Integra with a 99 JDM B20 engine. Using a OBD2 P75 ECU.

The car runs fine for a few minutes and then it tends to bog for a few seconds and then suddenly BURST forward, then bogs, and then burst forward.

The smell of gasoline is very potent.

Codes that I have previously found were

IAT-low voltage
IACV- circuit malfunction
RPM fluctuation sensor - no signal.

I have fixed the IAT and the IACV and the RPM fluctuation is due to the crank sensor being missing.

A little update - Car bogs only when driving, underload.

When in neutral the car revs fine with no bogging.

The car backfires also.

With your update, I get bogging while cruising underload as well, sounds like mines misfiring though (if yours isn't). I've narrowed mine down to a bad injector. Check the fuel system?

Does your car bog then suddenly get a surge of power?

This does sound like a fuel system related problem. With the smell of the gasoline.

Yup, I'll be cruising speeds, give the gas a blip and it will hiccup and RPM's will fluctuate for a second and then a little surge of power afterwards. It hasn't been all the time though, only every once in awhile.

I was wondering if the throttle cable might have something to do with it?

I am using a GSR throttle body and cable on the B20.

Maybe it might be getting stuck and then releasing.

maybe throttle body position sensor broke, if its lowered really low u could have drove over a big bump while acceleration thats what causes it to break and now its reading it at wrong angle, thats what happened to mine and i replaced the sensor and it fixed the problem.

Your car would bog and then surge with power?

I will check this out.

EDIT: I am using a GSR throttle body.

Yea, i was driving from work and hit a big bump(road was cut)and my engine light came on, i was thinking what it could be and i checked the code and it told me throttle position sensor, i replaced it with Blox one and it was fine for about 4 month until i guess it went bad again since my car is sitting so low it could have happened any time. I also have a Vtec controller and i can see the % of throttle im using and when my check engine goes on the Throttle % goes down to 0 and my GSR starts doing the same thing ur does, its of and on thing especially when its cold.

I had a similar problem with my car. Under heavy load the car would bog and back fire badly. I came to find out that my spark plug wires were shot. Maybe give the plugs and wires a check. It is simple and just another idea.

have you changed your fuel filter? i used to have the same problem acceleration at low rpms 2000-3000rpm would hesitate, boggle, and feel like sht. i changed my dirty *** air filter, and fuel filter made a whole lot of difference! i had 60k on that fuel filter. she now drives like a champ!
