camber problem
so ... I'm looking to get new suspension soon, however, the camber on my front passenger wheel is between about +0 and +1/4 of a degree positive (visibly noticable if you're looking for it)... I'm worried that i wont be able to tuck the tire inside the fender, and I'm looking to do some autocrossing starting next fall so I want to get the problem properly corrected anyway.
Here are my questions, any input/advice/past experience/sharing would be greatly appreciated:
The frame (where the control arms connect) doesn't look bent, although I'm not ruling that out. What, if anything, would be the next weakest link? What parts, if bent, are most likely to cause this?
Should I take it to my usual garage, or do I need to take it to a front end specialist? How hard would this be to diagnose? Basically, what are we looking at money wise to correct this problem?
once again, any input is much appreciated
thanks

Has the vehicle ever been in an accident? The parts that directly effect your camber would be bent/damaged upper control arm, bent damaged knuckle, bent/damaged lower control arm. Or like you said where the uca mounts in the fenderwell. 0-1/4 degree is not that much, you will be lowering it i assume, which will give you more negative camber. You can always invest in a camber kit to dial in a specific setting.
i believe it happened when I slid sideways down a 3 inch drop in the pavement (down to the shoulder). I will be lowering it but I just assume not buy a camber kit, although if this proves expensive to fix I may just end up doing that
thanks for the input
