CA Ref and Nitrous Q
My buddy got pulled over and has to go to the ref. He currently has a NOS nitrous system. Does he have to take it all out or just not have the can connected?
I went to the inspection with the bottle hooked up and they passed me, but this was in Texas. Cali's a b*tch
. I would just pull the bottle out. If he has a dry kit I would also put the hose from the fpr to the intake manifold back to normal.

that is not entirelly true. you can have a nitrous system in your car but it cant be connected/hooked while driving on public roads.

I think it is still illegal unless you have the proper labels affixed to the exterior of the vehicle stating you are transporting the 'gas' and potentially explosive canister tank.
I'd disconnect the nitrous completely before going to the State Ref - they're pretty picky when looking at modified parts.
It's true - you can have nitrous in your car but it cannot be connected when driving on public streets.
