a/c removal problem
is the same belt that is running my a/c also the same belt that is used for my alternator? can anyone else help explain to me a little better how to remove my a/c from my 94 gsr? PLEASE!!!
the info is out there but it's hard to search because people only type ac or a/c like you have and the search engine doesn't really recognize short terms.
No. the belt that runs your A/C is not the same as your alternator belt. There should be three belts coming from your crank pulley: the power steering belt, the A/C belt, and your alternator belt. You can cut the one to A/C safely without worrying about the other two.
I hope this helps you out, good luck!

This is also pretty easy to notice if you look at the belts. But yes, the a/c has it's own belt.
