Default A/C question....

Somehow, Ive lost the small plastic cap, that goes on top of the AC line.... like:

(Not my picture, I robbed it from someone else.... sorry )

Anyway, the blueish grayish cap that goes where you would recharge the AC.

It hasn't been a problem for a LONG time, but I just moved to Vegas and it is WAY hotter than Chicago, and its time for AC.

Question is, do I need to go to Honda to get another one of those caps, or is it something I could just pick up at Autozone or whatever?

TIA:

-Will

no because the valve inside keeps the air from leaking

Ummmm.... what?

I asked if you had to buy them from Honda, or if I could get one at any local parts store.

you would probably have to go to honda for that one.

I think maxrpm's tryin to say that you don't need the cap because nothing will leak out from the line.

I know, but it keeps things from getting into the lines.

Hey! That's my engine bay pic! Hehe...the part you need (if you want the OEM version) is #19 in this pic:

Acura Carland has it listed for $7.02. You have to buy at least $30 worth of stuff from them online to complete an order though. If I were you, I'd print out the pic I just posted, and take it to your local dealer and tell them to get you one. If you want to order it from Acura Carland, go here:
