Should be able to just pull it once the system has been evacuated.

R134a, [94 up cars] will sell for up to $2.50 an oz up here, anybody out there that wants a recovery come to me, I will do it for free, inside Kelowna, I will come to you, [we have mobile service].

If it is R12, [93 and earlier], I will give you $2.50 an ounce, up here, to a guy with a classic car, I can sell R12 for pretty much anything I want.

There is no need to vent refrigerant, [nasty ****] into the atmosphere, I bet anybody a dollar that they have a shop in town that will recover refrigerant for free if you ask, uncontaminated refrigerant is 100% recyclable/reusable and money in the pocket.

jdmjackson, does the DIY you found show you how to change the evap. housing into a cabin filter, or just to replace with duct or plug it up? 94

You will have to pop by one day, the the shop, Air Wolfe Auto Air Conditioning/Dave Ward Auto Electric is at 2070 Enterprise Way Kelowna B.C., right behind Budget rent a car off Hwy 97.

Your lucky, we have a few G2/3 at PicknPull, if you wanted to delete the evap housing also.
