Default A/c

i got a lil problem with my a/c when im idling it turns off and turns off whenever it wants wat i mean by tunring on and off is that the compressor suppose to stay on till the cabin reaches desired temperature but it shuts off when i tgets warm inside.

what is it that tells the a/c compressor to stay on or offf?

i s there a way to manuall control the ac compressor liek a switch or sumthing that can be installed to turn it on and off>???

will this harm anything at all???

I think the A/c should stay on when you turn it on. I dont think teg has a climate control that shuts the ac off when it gets too cold.anybody got any more ideas?

the a/c compressor should stay on as long as you have the a/c turned on. there isn't an interior thermostat or anything. id say its probably the clutch or stator that went bad, or some kind of wierd short.
