Bronze Intercooler
You shouldn't paint intercoolers at all.
Intercoolers work by letting the cool air generated when the car is in motion run through the 'fins' of the intercooler to cool the air running through tank to tank. By adding a coating of paint, it blocks direct air to metal contact.
