Once you get the valve cover off you'll be able to get the rest of it out. Only torque them back down to 8ft lbs

Take off VC, and use a wrench with a breaker bar...

It looks like the stud in the second pic is snaped off flush with the valve cover.

Do this.

Step 1. Remove all other nut holding down the valve cover.
Step 2. Remove all hoses/grouns straps...etc from valve cover
Step 3. Remope valve cover.

Now there should be some amount of stud sticking out from the block. If so then grab a wrench and remove it (can someone confirm this will be reverse thread or std thread?)

If the stud is flush with the head then you will need to drill a small pilot hole and get an eazy out to remove the stud. You wont have to drill it all the way out just enough to get the easy out into the stud and remove it. The other thread about the exhaust manifold is perfect for doing this same thing.

If you can remove it or dont feel like you have the skills to remove I would drive very lightley to a local mechanic and ask them to do it. I would say any mechanic can do it it is a pretty basic and semi common thing to do.

I wouldn't get mad at the people that are trying to help you. If you used some common sense, you would do what everyone is suggesting on here:

TAKE THE VALVE COVER OFF AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET THE STUD OUT!!!!

STEPS:

1. Unscrew all the nuts hold the valve cover down. 1 on each corner (4 total).
2. Unscew the nuts holding the spark plug cover on. 1 on each corner (4 total).
3. Unscrew the 4 nuts that were underneath the spark plug cover on the same studs (4 total).

There should be 12 all together. Once they are all removed, you can remove the valve cover and see the studs.

There is a place where you can put a 10mm socket over the stud and unscrew it from the head. They are all like that. They are easy to replace.

If you can't understand or do it after all the help that has been given in this post, please, do not make any other post until you search and read a little bit and get some clue as to what you are doing.

This is VERY simple and has been explained as easy as possible. You dont have to be a Doctor to take the valve cover off.

TAKE A PICTURE of your whole valve cover and post it on here. Make it bigger then the original pics you posted.

Taking a picture of the valve cover doesn't help, he needs to take one with the valve cover off so everyone can see where the studs are broken at. If the studs somehow are broken flush with the head, then most of the advice on this thread is useless (besides Racermech's advice). They will need to be drilled out and an extractor used or reverse thread drill bit.

In the first pic, the studs can't be seen, so they might have broken off flush with the head, but on the second pic, the stud is clearly seen and shouldn't be a problem to remove.
