so i think my check engine light bulb is either burnt out, or there is something else wrong that i'm not sure of....

it's on a bone stock 1990 integra gs...just bout the car a week ago...
it has a small misfire, and i'm not sure if it's on the ignition side(dizzy, etc.)
or fuel side(dirty injectors, fuel filter, etc.) i think it could be throwing a code and i'm not able to see it..

when i turn the car on the CEL doesn't even light up during start up or when i just have the key on II when everything else on the cluster works just fine..oil pressure, trunk, seatbelt, turn signals, etc.

how do i fix? any help greatly appreciated so i can get this damn thing fixed! i hate to just start swapping parts for no reason...

 

also...what could cause me to be able to have my ecu run codes sometimes, but not all the times?

 

take out the cluster check the bulb..... if its fine check the fuses
