I have a kinda weird problem when my lights are turned on the rear lights illuminate, but when i get on the brakes they don't get brighter (the brake lights don't come on). I believe it is a sensor problem because the bulbs are fairly new and i checked the fuse and it was fine. I did a search to come to the conclusion that is a sensor, but i need to know where the pedal sensor is and if i have to replace what will the cost be.

check the switch under the pedal and/or the fuse under the hood...does your horn and hazards work?

 

a friend and myself tore threw and check the ohms on the pedal senor and yes the horn, hazards, and cruise control all work. We have come to the conclusion that something is wrong in the wiring cause the fuse and sensor are fine. Any other comments on what may be the problem would be greatly appreciated
