BRAKE light problem
Specs: 98 Integra GS (Automatic)
**NOTE: I use to (before this problem) pull my E-brake up when parking.
Problem: Ive noticed in the past 2 weeks, every morning when I leave my house (Car is garaged), everytime I would take the E-brake off, the red BRAKE light on the cluster would stay on for about 2-3 minutes. BUT.... Everytime I would step on the brake it would turn back on for antoher 2-3 minutes. So in the course of driving and braking for lights or signs, it would like rest itself to stay on for another 2-3 minutes. This only happens in the morning. Afternoon and evening this doesnt happen. Does anyone know what can be causing this?

yes.....the wire under the erake is loose from the butt connector same **** happened to me. take off the rear plastic center console (i think its like 4 screws) and jam that wire back into the butt connecter.

fluid may also cause it.
fluid may also cause it.
fluid lvl possibly...prolly the wire take off the center console about 6 to 8 screwes and there is a wire where the E-brake bar is take the wires and reconnect them to the main plugs! then baam it should be fixed perfectly!
I tryed what you sed, and im going to continue to watch this during the week to see if it has stopped, if it hasnt ill check the brake fluid level

Dude it's the fluid level..Just add a little fluid even if it seems full and you will see your problem is fixed...I also recommend you go to the dealer and get some honda brake fluid... they gave me a bottle for free
