Just like the topic says I bought a used pair of h&r springs and was wondering which one is the front. THe reason I ask is becuase the longest springs are have a number that ends in f and the shortest springs have a number that end in r. Do the longest springs goe in the front?

NOOOOOOO long in the front and short in the reaer welll thats how my neuspeeds are. funny story was i had the short ones up front and the long ones in the rear and the back was raised and the front was lowerd 4 inches.. think about it more weight up front "engine" u need the longer springs rear doesnt have much weight

Yeah it turns out the "f" means front and the "r" means rear. I was just confused because the ones marked "f" are the longest ones. I was looking at my eibachs to compare and they are the opposite. With them the short ones go in the front. With these the long ones go in the front.
Anyway for anyone that is wondering the H&R race have a beautiful drop compared to the eibach pro-kit. I'm just on the stock shocks for now but they don't really feel too bad either. I won't be using them for much longer though.

that's kind of weird because on my h&r race springs... the front ones are shorter and the rear ones are longer.

i also have h&r race springs on my car. i put the ones label that have the "f" in front(keep in mind they are the shorter ones) and the "R" in the back(keep in mind they are the longer ones).

for some reason it's not a leveled drop. i do understand the there is mroe weight in the front. it would only be wise to use the longer ones in the front. then how come the longer ones are labeled for the rear?

short and thicker is for the front!

I don't know, mine were the opposite, the longer ones were marked with the F and the shorter ones were marked with the R.
