hey guys
so both my airbags deployed, what do i need to replace?
I got:
a new driver airbag
a new passenger airbag
srs module
what else?????
im reading somethings about a clockspring and also about the harnesses that connect to the srs module. would i need to replace those too?
any help is appreciated.

Removing/modifying the SRS system is dangerous and illegal in most states. You seatbelts are designed to work with the airbags, not without. Please think before you give worthless advice such as this. How would it weigh on your conscience if the OP were killed in a front-end crash after removing his airbags per your advice. Unless you have a full roll/cage, 5-point harnesses, airbags are an integral part of your car's safety system.

That's a retarded response. Wrecks can happen any time, any place, with no way to avoid them. My dad's truck hit a car at 60+ mph, square in the side that had spun out and came across the interstate median into his lane. He had no warning and no time for evasive action, and he's probably living right now because of the airbags and seat belt.

haha you guys are great. yea that response was worthless to me. so anyway, besides replacing both airbags and the main srs module, i dont needa replace anything else?

just got my passenger side airbag. i will be putting the bags along with the srs unit in this weekend. hopefully everything will be back to normal.
to those who needed to change ur airbags, did the srs light turn off after the bags and the srs unit were installed?
