My 95 LS integ. bogs when i start up my car it would start off at low rpm and slowly go up to 2,000 rpm. I checked my Fuel pressure regulator by detaching the tube from the engine to the FPR and it would stop bogging but soon as I plug it back in it would start to idle up and down. Here is another thing I did, was checked my spark plugs and the far left were quite dry (lean) and the 1st and 2nd spark plug looked good. Does anybody know any clue what my problem is? I'm in the process of buying a FPR and if that fails then Fuel injector.

I didn't know cars could blog? Do they get internet access through the ecu?

 

Seems like an idle problem if the rpm's rise when you start the car. If so, check the IACV and clean it, with carb cleaner. And should solve your problem, or you can play around with the idle screw.

 

How do you clean the IACV? you got any picture or step by step procedures?
