Blinking "D4" Light on Automatic LS
I have a 2000 Acura Integra LS swapped a year in a half ago to a B20B I never had any problems until 2 days ago when I was on the street. I noticed first that the speedometer on the right of the cluster dropped to Zero. The car was running fine but when I stopped and a turn left only lane as I gradually increase speed I notice that the gears was not shifting right kinda like a hesitation of what not kind of shifting, I can't really explained the way the car was acting but probably someone here knows what I am talking about. I also noticed that my D4 light was blinking, car so far is running fine but in my mind I want to make sure I am doing the right steps in resolving the issue. So far I replaced my Speed Sensor with a aftermarket sensor but still has this weird irratic speedometer that sometimes goes up down or just plain stays at zero especially on the freeways. What else options I have to resolve the issues please help.. Thanks
-tranny seems okay and real smooth but its a debate whether is still the sensor is faulty or if the ECU is giving out.. something to really research. I swapped out the tranny into another integra and works wonders..
clean and reattach your engine bay grounds i had tons of trouble with a bad ground. d4 blinking and rough shifts galore. i swapped ECU and still had the problem. look up my old threads for more details.
