i was driving on the high way and my car was fine coming off the ramp it was also fine, but when i got to the first traffic light i had to stop and the idol went down to like 250 about and stayed low ever since so i pulled over and parked it. checked the oil and everything, everything was fine started it up a few times and then it didn't start anymore tries cranking over, but it doesn't start what do you guys think this can be maybe i am not getting spark or what and the fuel pump turns on so please help i would really appreciate it thanks

UPDATE:
okay so i replaced the entire distibutor and new cap and rotor along with plugs and wires and the sparking problem is now fixed, but now it is running like crap i have spark in all cylinders, but when the car is running and i take out the plug on the 2nd cylinder it does nothing it doesnt bog down or anything. The timing is dead on with the points, the cams gears line up when the marks on the oil pump line up. The bottom of the spark plug in cylinder 2 is wet like it has oil on it or something but i do not know what to do anymore PLEASE somebody HELP ME!!!

What car do you drive, what motor, any CEL's?

 

i drive a 94 acura integra gsr 2 dr and the CEL isnt on

 

When you cancel a cylinder like how you did on number 2 that means you have low compression on that one... do a compression test to see what are you numbers

 

First do a leakdown compression test. If the psi #'s are low it means you have a 1) blown headgasket 2)pistons rings are bad 3)valve seal is bad. If theres no spark in that cylinder check your firing order.

 

all my plugs are black besides cylinder 2 so doesn't that mean that cyl #2 is not firing and my ECU is running the other 3 super rich to try to compensate for it.
