Default BEWARE OF TYPERMAN2001!!!!

Man, this guy is a rip off. I live in LB and drove alllll the way down to San Diego to pick up a 98 rear integra bumper from him, which he claimed was in good condition with no dents. Picked up the bumper from him, and when I put the bumper on, this thing got damages to it if you look really close. Just warning you HTech's.

did you not look at it when you went down there to buy it? you just gave him the money and threw the bumper in your car without inspecting it?

do you have a thread or PM or an email or something where he told you the condition of the bumper? pictures he supplied you? pictures of the damaged bumper now?

I looked at the bumper, but it wasn't visable until you clean the dirty *** bumper. I was on the phone with him and I asked him if there was any dents at all, and he said no. I wouldn't trip if he let me know in the first place. he is telling me that i knew about the dent, which i didn't.

you should've wiped the bumper down before buying it. you cant blame him for your carelessness..... always inspect everything and anything you buy from head to toe, regardless new or used.

Nah, it was my fault too. I'm admitting that, but the point was that he lied to me. That's all. I know it was my fault for not looking at it, but he wasn't honest to me.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that he knew there was a dent. All I'm saying that he's not a good saleman. Now when you go to buy a car from someone, and was told the car was in great condition, but when you get home, the engine makes a weird noise. When you go back to the saleman and be like, WTF? I thought u said there's no problem with the car at all. When he replies to you, sorry, I didn't know about it. Would you be pissed??? Would you consider this person a good saleman or a bad saleman. I just figure in order to be a good seller, you should know what you are selling. Not just blurting anything out to get a sale. If he would have told me there was a dent, then you guys wouldn't be reading about this post at all. It's just the fact that he didn't know about it and guarenteed that there was no dents and it was in good condition. Hey, I like to be honest to people, and I just want honesty back. It's always the good guys getting dicked. Just another lesson learned. I'll just mark it as a loss, and move on. Just wanted to let you guys know.

I personally saw the bumper and it clearly looked to have been in an accident or 2. Buyer wasn't told of any damage due to an accident. True, the buyer should've been careful before buying, but think about this, he drove all the way down to SD fron LB and was told it was in GOOD CONDiTION. It looked to be in OK condition before installation, but once installed, fitment wasn't proper. If a seller tells you that it's in good condition, do you expect it to be in good condition? HELL YEAH, if I'm going to drive far for something, it better be in GOOD condition.

If you couldn't see the damage in the first place, then what are you bitching about? You should have looked closer if you were concerned about some tiny scratch. Buyer beware.

Wasn't just some scratches, more like a big crease on the bumper. More noticeable when on the car since u can tell it wasn't an original crease. Scratches don't matter since he was gonna re-paint it, but a crease/dent that looks like it was involved in a rear end collision.

Where on my post did I say anything about some scratches? This is a urethane bumper. When you go and paint something, do you half as it and paint over a fucked up bumper or would you prefer something that's in good condition? The bumper was warped and had creases. For your ignorant ***, I already said it was my fault for not looking clearly. I was just pointing out that he wasn't honest to me. Point is proven. Plain and simple, I didn't ask you for your opinion. Nowhere on my thread did I ask you for your opinion.

Honestly dude, this doesn't warrant a god damn "beware" thread. If you're mad about it, take it up with him, but the truth is, you didn't look at it.

I worked with TypeRman2001 for my Project. I bought... A ****-ton of stuff through him. Not only did I get my full GSR swap off him, he went with me to an Acura dealership and personally used his merchant account to help me get the parts I needed to complete the swap at discounted price. He didn't have to do that but he did. He also took the engine apart from the tranny so that I could put it into my car since I didn't have a truck.

He's a great seller to me, so to this thread.

Sorry about your luck man, but clearly he did his part and sold it! So in my book's he's a good salesmen. You just need to be more cautious when buying. If you have records of purchase and proof of the condition of the piece upon purchase you're guaranteed cashback. If you decided to do a cash deal and not fully inpect the product, it's your own fault. But still, sorry to hear about your luck or there lack of.

i hate buyers like you, buy something and then the next minute you dont want it,

you should have inspected it closing, at least you can repair a bumper, its not like you have a cracked rim

lock this thread up.

so let's see.. you had the bumper physically in hand, BEFORE you handed over any cash. you had a chance to look everything over BEFORE commiting to the purchase. yet he still somehow screwed you? yeah, F'in right.

sounds like buyer's remorse to me. GTFO.

How does a layer of dirt cover a big crease/"dent" enough so you didn't see it in the first place??

I just picked up an A/C line from him this past weekend.. I found him a good seller and would do business with again.

Also, lose the attitude dick head. It only pisses people off and makes you look like more of a retard.
