The Azenis is a good tire but it wont last very long and is only a summer tire. If you need something a little more versitile for other seasons. I would reccomend the Kuhmo ECTSA Supra 712. Great bang for your buck tire, and a much better tread life, so you wont be buying tires as often. you can get them at tire rack for $68 each. Hope this helps

i just bought a set of firestone firehawk ss20's....they were 65 bucks a tire and they are rated all season. i've driven in some ice and snow with them already and they perform alright.

If you are looking for A/S, I can suggest Centennial Interceptor. You probably have never heard of it. It is made by Dunlop for Discount Tires only. It is abot $67 each

I have heard nothing but good things about the bridgestone potenza's . I just had the Re950's mounted on monday. No rain or snow use yet.

dunno about under $70.. but close to that budget.. I'd look into Falken Azenis, Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's, Bridgestoen Potenza RE730's, if you want to spring a little more look into the Bridgestone Potenza S-03's or Dunlop SP9000's..

yeah I've got a lot of friends who got the Bridgestone Potenza RE730s and are very happy w/ them.. a lot of them got it when costco had them for sale and they also had those Costco coupons where you get like $50 off a set of 4.. I think they got their tires for $3XX something taxed, mounted, etc... I think it was around $350 or so.. I forget.. one of my friends made me go so he could use my membership card....

I got pirelli p700s 205/50/15 installed for $300
they're pretty good.. they might be hard to find though I think they're discontinued
not sure how they're gonna hold up in the winter though

I just stopped by BJ's wholesale tire shop and they wanted $139 for a single Michellin 205/50V15... The Sales person said michellins are premier quality tires and have silica in their composition which extend the tread life longer than any other road time. is this true or am i getting warm puffs up my wazoo?

treadwear rating usually gives you an idea of how long the tire will last.

well you could always get bridgestone potenza s-03. they're 195/50/15 though, but tirerack was having a special for 79 each, don't know if it's still going.

Re: Best 205/50/15 Integra tire for under $70 bucks? (SMZ812)
I just had some Azenis...didnt last long enough, about 10 months for me without any track days this year because ive been busy, BUT i do drive the **** out of my car on the backroads to and from work every day and on the weekends. Last month of the tires was kinda scary because there was almost no tread and in the rain i would just hydroplane over any standing water whatsoever and sometimes the car would just decide not to turn in a turn and go straight.
I just got some Yokohama AVS Es100's and I like them a lot, they are pretty sticky and they will last longer than the Azenis and also arent as wide which is good because i run stock wheels and because of the extra width of the azenis on how wide my wheels are they felt kinda sloppy, really the azenis work best in 205/50/15 on a 7" wide wheel. I got my AVS ES100's for $72 each from Tirerack and they come with a warranty. So far I like them as much as I liked my AVS Intermediates and I liked those a hell of a lot more than the Azenis because of how it just made my car feel.
All seasons are for ******, if you really wanna drive in the snow get some snow tires, if you want to drive in the summer you need some sticky tires. All seasons blow goats every which way, they dont do anything well enough.

I agree. I just put es100's on my car and they are very good for the money. 205/50-15 for 74 each at tire rack.
I've had kumho 712's, p700z's and s03's on my car. s03 are the best, but expensive. stay away from the p700z's... I hated them.
the es100's are a nice split between all of these tires. handles very nicely and are pretty quiet for a high performance tire.

Im seeing that people say that the azenis's and maybe other tires work better running on 195's than 205 when using stock GSR rims...
Does everyone agree?
