bent valves
well i noticed my timing belt was ripping so i decided to quickly change it before it snapped and totally screwed my engine. well my stupid *** friend decides that while im not standing there to start to turn the crank to get it to tdc and start to adjust the timing and stuff, well what he forgot to do was turn the cams first so that the pistons wouldnt hit my valves and of course once he got it to almost the top it hits my valves and he starts trying to force it to turn...
well i stopped him quick and figured maybe he didnt do it hard enough to bend any, so i get it back together and try to start it and it wont start unless i hold the gas, so i double check the timing and its dead on... i try it again and it start when holding gas but sounds like its missfiring like crazy and then when you let go of the gas it just stalls. so im pretty sure the idiot bent my valves.
im doing a compression test tomorrow after work to determine for sure if he did or not but just in case... does any one know of a real good but not out ragiously priced shop to send my head to have it p&p, maybe 5 angle valve job, and probably new guides put in? also, any one know roughly how much this would cost me to have those 3 things done? and btw, this engine is going turbo so its got to be done perfect.
also, any one got any ideas of what else could be wrong now... timings dead on but it wont start or stay running unless hold the gas and when starts and hold the gas it sounds like its misfiring like crazy and as if its every cylinder...

any one think im going to need new pistons? even though the car wasnt running when this whole thing happened... because i dont know if he tried forcing it by turning the key quickly to get the engine to turn itself over without starting though...
i just went through something along these lines...check out how my car was running witout the t-belt tensioned right...

my guess is that you didnt tighten it down properly
