Hey everyone, a friend of mine ran up a curb and bent her rear subframe and i'm just wondering if it can be replaced. I realize there would have to be some torching and welding involved to successfully install it..but is this something a body shop can do?

yeah its possible considering they sell reinforced subframes for civics to be able to run beefy sway bars

Ive seen a dude weld on Civic Type R subframe on his EK looked like factory, bad-***.

so yeah it has been done.

 

yea, u need to drop the fuel tank take the orriginal subframe off and weld in a new 1.

I suggest using an itr rear subframe as the replacement....

 

its for a girl so maybe shes not into performance and just wants a stock one in there
