belt tensioner making noises?? clicking,is it going bad
i searched and found a similar topic but it turned out to be something different. the cars making a loud/fast clicking noise when accelerating, mainly when a load is on the engine such as in lower rpms and then hit full throttle. could the timing belt tensioner be going bad,or is it possible it's overtightened?my mechanic told me it might possibly be the tensioner,it just had a new head put on it and i only heard it right after the head was put on,thats why im thinking it might be loose,or too tight.i never heard it before the new head was put on.
