Beeps after starting car?

Beeps after starting car?
I started my car the other morning and after it started I heard a sequence of "beeps" maybe 4 or 5. I've never heard them before. It reminded of aftermarket car alarms that will beep a certain amount of times when you disarm the alarm, if the car was previously tampered with. But I only have the factory Acura alarm system. I looked in my owners manual and could not find anything regarding this. Is this something to worry about? I did not notice any signs of tampering on my car and it ran fine. Not sure what to think...

question, did you by any chance have your stereo off when you noticed those beeps? My car beeps when I start it (the same beep as if you have the door open w/ the key in the ignition), but my stereo always comes on when I start so I usually don't notice it. I remember one time starting the car and noticing it, but I think it was just because my stereo was off so it was easier to hear the beeps.

yeah i think its the seatbelt warning light...if u don;t fasten ur seatbelt and start the car it will beep six times or for six second (something like that)...always happens on mine cos i too lazy to fasten the seatbelt and then start the car.
