i get this random beeping noise.. there are no lights showing on my dash.

it is VERY random. sometimes it will happen a little bit, sometimes it wont have for a while, then tonight it just went nuts and started beeping for like 3 minutes straight.

anyone have any clue?

it sounds like its coming from under the dash.

 

Beeping? Like the beeping when you leave your lights on when you take out the key and open your door? Like the seat belt chime?

Nothing in your car will beep unless you have something aftermarket in there, like an alarm, radio, etc.

Did you look under there at all?

 

have u ever been pulled over by a cop? and have they ever searched your car whle u were in the back seat of a police vehicle?

if so, ur car is bugged.

my car was also bugged by the signal hill police department, after they ran sacked my house and found nothing. so they decided to follow me around and then pull me over for my "loud" muffler.

they "accused" me being involved in a drive by shooting.

so far, they are stilll scratching their heads cuz the keep looking in the wrong place.

 

sounds more like the seat belt noise..

and ya a cop searched my car, but for like 2 seconds.. i doubt he had anytime to put anything there, and ive been under my dash a lot to see something like that.

That is my other thought.. the car came with 2 alarms that we not active. I took out the wires and the units because they were useless. I am guessing that the alarms are the culprits, but dont know where to start or what to do.

They basically made fun of me and compared it to the movie, F&F. They searched my house and disrespected me. bla blah.

Anyways, i have no other idea to what that beep could be.

 

hmm ive had a chime ocassionaly beep for an srs fault.. something like the bulb is out in the cluster... could it be that

 

this sounds like a ground issue I had the same problem with my 98 prelude
