B20Z in my DC, swap to LS cams or keep CRV cams??
I love the way the B20 pulls in my Integra, its mostly stock with just a header and intake. But I did notice it goes flat around 5000rpm, is this due to the CRV cams or maybe another issue such as the OEM LS ECU? I also just ordered an adjustable fuel pressure reg because I know it needs a little more fuel. I have the stock LS cams from my 94 LS motor, should I put them in?

From Haynes manual [2b-2]
Camshaft lobe height
B18B1, B20Z2
Intake - 1.3274 inches
Exhaust - 1.3200 inches
Unless your 0BD2 which I doubt, there is no need to change ECU.
The heads are identical between b18b/b20.
Most people add a FPR and raise the fuel pressure but the results are not noticeable to most without much more supporting mods than I/H/E. Your biggest gain would be ditching the b20 intake manifold if you haven't already and switching to the LS manifold. If you really want better pickup get rid of the LS trans and get a GSR or Si trans.

A GSR transmission will do you good. Your stock FPR is better. I would just use that. My question is how do you know you need more fuel? A dyno/fuel map/tune will tell you so. I would suggest a set of cams for power up top...

I ditched the B20 intake mani when I did the swap, used my cleaned up LS manifold.

Yeah, I did make that a bit hard to follow. B20Z and B18B cams are the same. Exact same. B20B intake cam has a little less lift then B20Z/B18B.

omg...if you want power than boost or put a vtec head. swapping out cams especial stock ls cams aint gonna do anything. alot of work for no gain. fpr does nothing to increase power. you feel like theres no power at 5k rpm cuz b20s power range is below that. made for torque not hp. even if you get a chip you prob wont feel any difference in power cuz the gain is so little.

If I get it tuned/chipped I know it will make more power, if its the same motor as an LS then tell me why the LS pulls past 5k rpm??? not to mention its 2.0l vs the 1.8...
I can't imagine the B20 having the same cams as an LS when the B20 was designed for torque and used in an SUV... I'm probably gonna swap to the LS cams just to see what it does, it isn't like its hard to do...

the cams are identical. don't waste your time. torque comes from displacement, not the cam profile
get a tune done. and as mentioned, a shorter geared transmission makes a huge difference
