B20V problem
B20 with a GSR Head (B18C1) it had a really high steady rev, found a really bad vacuum leak in the intake manifold and throttle body gaskets, and a loose timing belt(but ran ok- no weird sounds), so i took the head off, and put on a new timing belt, tensioner, head gasket, intake mani gasket, throttle body gasket, torqued everything down with arp head studs, and hooked everything back up (think i have all the hoses right) and now the the high rev is a little high, but less than before and now theres a ticking or tapping sound. Ive checked the timing 2 times, and adjusted the valves and still nothing better, im out of ideas, wondering if some one could think of something maybe i missed.

Sticky LMA's ! ppl always over look that skunk2 sells them for like 80$ my 550cc grams don't make any noise is that an OEM thing ?, I can't remember my old ones doing it either. I did end up having to replace the LMA's issue fixed.
totally forgot about LMAs, ill check them to see if theyre sticking and if they are ill see about that, the idle was at 3.5 before now its at around 2 grand, and so if the injectors are making noise then there bad right?
my injectors never made noise before, my friends did on his turbo, but thats cuz he was maxing them out before he upgraded his injectors and im not, i doubt its my injectors, but if the lmas dont fix the sound ill look into those, thanks for the replys, ill keep you updated in a week or so when they come in
