Use 93 then, or if you are trying to save money, you can make your own custom blend of 89 and 93 (so it averages 91). Here in CA, all of our premium unleaded gas is 91 octane. When I lived in VA, premium was 93.
If you do not use 91 or higher, your high compression GSR motor will be subject to knocking and pinging - which are signs of detonation.
