My friend has a 94 Integra LS. Hes got the B18B1 engine in it. The previous owner put in a LSD transmission, all I could get off the tranny was YS1 or A5D, i dont really know what that means. I looked up YS1 and it came up 92-93 Integra, so i am guessing it will fit on on the 94 block as well. Cause both tires spin, so i think its an LSD.

Now the problem.

It WILL NOT move. Start the car up, put it in first gear and let off the clutch, the speedo moves up to like 20, but the car sits there, shift to second, speedo goes like 40-50 but the car dont move...now reverse, you engage reverse and you can hear a whine coming from the front, u cant feel it in the stick but you can hear it.

Could this be a blown tranny or clutch??

The clutch was fine before this problem. It never slipped or anything, and so was tranny. Both have decently low miles on them.

I have a 92 RS, and my tranny is the YS1. This YS1 is available in short geared and long geared (LS) versions. Did you check to see if your axles are in all the way? Also, with the axle out, if you take a flashlight and look into the tranny, if you see a metal pin going across, it is not LSD, at least I think this is a tell-tale sign.
