Ok well my tps is causing me a headache right now. My car is haunted or something... sorry if this sounds confusing.

Everytime i plug my tps in the idle goes down to 1000 (normally 1500 when not connected). Almost every time i connect it the cel goes away, sometimes it dosent and sometimes it goes away and comes back on. When my tps is connected everytime at startup and random times fter that the idle will surge up ad down for a few seconds.

I tried adjustong it with a multimeter but when i had it connected the multimeter would spike for a few seconds giving me random numbers then.drop down to zero.

Any help?

 

Replace it.

 

U might not be getting a good connection when your checking the tps red signal wire.also probe the other yellow and green wires to make sure ur getting 5v power to the tps.
